Just a brief overview of what my March shelf looked like! I'm sticking with one-sentence reviews for each of the books I read this month. Just click the arrows!

Note: I consider anything 4+ stars a recommendation. Each book is linked to its page on Bookshop.org!

Books I Finished: 10

Taste: My Life Through Food by Stanley Tucci / 5 stars

This book is a ton of fun, but I'll warn you: do not read while hungry!

Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo / 4.75 stars

A sweet, beautifully crafted historical fiction about young love and finding yourself.

The Magnolia Palace by Fiona Davis / 4.75 stars

Mystery, dual timelines, art history, family drama — an all-around stunner.

Party of Two by Jasmine Guillory / 5 stars

Jasmine Guillory writes romances that are the perfect balance of sweet and funny while still exploring significant topics with grace and intentionality.

Finlay Donovan Is Killing It by Elle Cosimano / 4.25 stars

This book is a great twisty mystery to devour in one sitting.

Outlawed by Anna North / 4.5 stars

I've never read anything like this — it's a fascinating feminist western full of adventure, emotion, and found family.

The Magic Fish by Trung Le Nguyen / 4.75 stars

My first graphic novel — a beautiful use of fairy tales to contextualize lived experience.

The Verifiers by Jane Pek / 2 stars

I had high hopes for this book, but it ultimately tried to do too much and fell flat.

While We Were Dating by Jasmine Guillory / 5 stars

Have I mentioned I love everything Jasmine Guillory does?

This book is a challenging, complex memoir about trauma and the flaws of the justice system.
